Projects
Here you can find a compilation of all the projects I have done in class alone and in a team with other classmates
01
Nails don't have gender
My objective was to express how regardless of gender we should all be able to paint our nails without being judged or associated with some movement.
02
Don't waste time judging appearance.
With our project we seek to make the viewer reflect on how regardless of our race, ethnicity, gender, age and other factors we are all still the same inside.
03
The drowned horse - photomontage
With this photomontage I wanted to give a message about pollution and how it will drown us in the future.
The original work is an appropriation made by Marta Zafra of Velázquez's famous painting "Felipe IV a caballo".
04
Appropriation
I have used the resource of appropriation with the painting "Spain" by Ricard Verde to create a painting linked to the EDS of peace culture representing conflict and peace.
The woman is Hypatia of Alexandria, a philosopher, astronomer and mathematician who was killed for fighting for her beliefs and not wanting to give in to the religion of the moment, Christianity.
05
Sea souls
In this project we have represented with elements of rejection the angels of the sea which are animals in danger of extinction.
Our intention was to create shadows that had the shape of the animal.
06
Illustration of recipes
In this project we have illustrated with different techniques three recipes written by primary school students.
The techniques I have chosen have been: watercolor, digital drawing and stamping.
07
Beyond
My work is entitled "Beyond" and what I seek to represent is the transcendence that can have a habit as everyday as sleep. The picture could be divided into two parts, the outside of the eye which represents the weight and burden that the person feels as he sleeps less, at first glance it gives an image of peace and harmony which is the same as they tend to give people with insomnia.
Then, contrasting with the outside we have the pupil with the wire, with this my intention is to represent the internal chaos that the person suffers from having all his thoughts tangled and not being able to reach a clear idea.
For this project we had to be inspired by a work from the MNAC, in my case I felt an instant connection with one of the works from the "Via dolorosa" collection by Pere Formiguera from 1989.
This collection focuses on reflecting on pain and death and the reason why I selected it was because from my perspective it represents very well the concept of the mental chaos that the person with insomnia suffers from.
08
Multicube
In this project I have been inspired by minimalist furniture to create a chair that can be folded to become a stool.
09
Clothing design
For this project I designed and made a piece of clothing which in this case was a cross back top with a hanging neckline and flower print.
The design is focused on the summer season and seeks to have a shape that can be adapted to different styles such as casual and more formal.
The fabric is a slightly flexible material that allows it to adapt better to the curves which are accentuated thanks to the "corset" of the shoulder.
10
Bag inspired by fictional character
ThisThis project aimed to create a bag inspired by a fictional character, in my case I selected Miles Morales, a variant of the famous superhero Spider-Man.
I was clear that I wanted to make a versatile accessory that could be used both on more formal occasions and in everyday life and for this reason I opted for a simpler and more delicate style.
The aesthetics follow that of his superhero appearance with black as the base color and a red spider in the center like the one he wears on his chest.
